Respite Short-Term Care
The Village at Gettysburg also accommodates respite care stays in the personal care residence. This provides caregivers with a chance to take a break and have peace of mind knowing their loved one is receiving the highest level of care while you get a well-earned break. Respite care provides the perfect solution whether your loved one needs:
- A place to stay while you are traveling for business or vacation or attending to your own health care needs
- Special attention focused on wellness and nutrition to gain strength
- Time for companionship or social activities
Respite has been proven to provide a positive experience for both the person receiving the care and the caregiver themselves. Respite stays are a maximum of 30 days and dependent upon suite availability. All of the services and amenities that personal care residents enjoy are available to respite guests as well.
